The Visual Impact

Purpose and goal:

By 2030, we need to have halved emissions according to the Paris Agreement. A key for incubators and startup companies to know that they are creating the necessary impact is to define measurable objective for impact and develop tools and methods to visualize the effects of the companies´ impact.

The goal of the project is to increase incubators´ ability to target incubator companies´ impact work and visualize measurable social and/or environmental effects in order to inspire, guide and engage in the movement required of a startup company in the transition to a sustainable society. Expected results and effects:

Increased ability for incubators to support the incubator companies´ development in a sustainable way, which leads to more companies being able to grow and create positive social impact.

Improved workflow and efficiency in the incubation process, resulting in faster and more successful business developments as well as increased competitiveness for national incubators.

Increased attractiveness for investors and financiers looking for companies with a focus on sustainability and social impact, which can lead to increased access to capital for these companies. Approach and implementation:

The project aims to develop a combination of tools and methods that complement the traditional business development methodology in incubators and similar business development organizations. By focusing on impact business modeling, impact measurement and follow-up as well as the ability to visualize effects, the solution will provide both the incubator companies and the incubators themselves with concrete and measurable improvements in their business development processes.
