After successful conferences in 2019 and 2021, SWEAH is arranging a third conference in November 2023.The purpose of the conference is to communicate research findings in ageing and health, share experiences, and provide opportunities for networking. A unique goal is related to career support for SWEAH alumni.
This initiative provides opportunities for them to assume responsibilities in planning, communication, and implementation of a scientific conference. The conference theme Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Sustainable Ageing is broad and inclusive.
The uniqueness of this theme is to reflect on sustainable ageing from a range of perspectives, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to address the complex needs of the ageing population as well as opportunities and challenges for society.Hosted by Linköping University, the two-day conference will take place in Campus Norrköping.
PhD students and researchers in the postdoctoral career phase represent the next generation of researchers and is the main target group.
The conference is open for PhD students and their supervisors, SWEAH alumni as well as any researcher with an interest in ageing and health at the 13 SWEAH partner universities.
