The purpose of the project is to acquire knowledge concerning GFlowNets that are developed at Mila and possibly find possible R&D collaborations to build reasonable AI systems in practice. Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The outcome of the project was that the applicant had the opportunity to meet several of the Mila researchers who developed GFlowNet, which is a promising technology for the development of resonating AI systems. The stay led to deep research discussions that will continue after the project and that will hopefully lead to collaborations to develop reasoning AI systems.

The arrangement consisted of visits that spanned 4 weeks as well as digital meetings both before and after the visit. This led to everyone involved getting to know each other and understand the problems they were trying to attack and solve. The focus was on concrete problems to solve, understanding opportunities and challenges. We formulated concrete problems that we have continued to discuss after the stay and have now set up regular weekly meetings to continue a concrete R&D collaboration.
