The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for practice-oriented research issues in the field of welfare, for researchers and R&D staff working on research, development projects and investigations in social services and related health care.
The aim is to promote excellent practice-oriented research and to disseminate knowledge about practice-oriented research and development in social services and related health care.At the R&D Welfare conference, research and development projects carried out by R&D units in the welfare field during the past year are presented.
All projects involve social services in various ways. In many cases, the projects are co-created with practice and are always based on the practice´s own issues. The conference is held over two days. The first day is focused on presentations and Q&A in three parallel sessions, as well as two joint program items.
During the 2023 conference, the joint program items are a panel discussion based on a report on R&D activities, and an invited speaker with experience in R&D development. The second day of the conference focuses on dialogue based on various current themes.
The purpose of the dialogues is partly to exchange knowledge but also to create opportunities for nationwide and cross-cutting R&D collaborations.New for 2023 is that the first day of the conference will be open to employees in social services and related health services. The purpose of this is to reach out to the municipalities´ activities with the knowledge R&D units are generating.
Employees, strategists, managers and others who work with knowledge issues in social services are invited to attend this year´s conference.
In order to create the greatest opportunity for their participation, the association has chosen to invite them free of charge, the association and the registration fees generated by the participation of R&D staff are responsible for this cost.
