Sustainable leadership, management and organisation in the welfare sector

The conference aims to bring togehter researchers and practicioners with a focus on collaboration around issues related to sustainable leadership, governance and orgnisation in welfare sector.

The conference,which is held as a hybrid conference at the University of Borås, wnats to enable researchers from different diciplinens and practitioners from different organisations in the welfare field to create new contacts and exchange experiences with each other.

The intension is to contribute to the dissemination of current and ongoing research from the research group Working Life and Welfare: Sustainable governance, organisation and lmanagement in welfare, SOLWE at the University of Borås and from national and international researchers and collaborative partners in this field.

The intention is also to co-create new research questionsand continued collaborative projects.The theme of the conference is "Value-able-work!" where issues of sustainable leadership, governance and organisation of welfare and the values tha welfare organisations and professions traditionally stand for are central.

Welfare challenges are discussedwith the support of current research and in crative workshops to identify new innovative ideas. Examples of specific subthemes are: Recruitment for welfare educational programs and for eldercare,. Exposure to threats and violence in work life AI/digitization - solution or problem?

Conficence and trust.

Age management, Fears and expectations of future welfare. "God nära vård", Welfare professions in collaboration.The sientific focus is multidisciplinary with a focus on research on leadership, governace and organisation in the welfare sector. The conference is aimed at researchers, professionals ans students in the filed of welfare.

It will take place in Oct 2024, lunch to lunch/afternoon, focusing on keynote speakers presentation and seminars day I and on creative workshops in day II. A joint dinner will be offered on day 1 for participants on site.
