Cancer surgery of the future - Design and coordination of the EU application for Navari to the EIC Accelerator

Purpose and goal:

The goal for the project was for Navari to submit a competitive proposal to the EU funding agency EIC Accelerator, which would be granted funding. Despite the fact that the goal was not completely fulfilled, it can be summed up that the project was very successful. Navari proceeded through all steps and made it to the final, which was an interview with experts, on site in Brussels.

Having subsequently received the evaluation from the jury, it can be stated that Navari performed extremely well, and Navari plans to apply for the proposal again in the future. Expected results and effects:

Together with a selected partner, Navari has identified and complemented areas that needed to be strengthened for the EIC Accelerator application. Feedback given from EIC Accelerator has further clarified strong areas as well as areas that can be further strengthened. Approach and implementation:

The work was carried out in three stages. The first focused on "Short application" and included a thorough analysis of the project proposal. Work package two focused on the next step, "Full application" as well as implementing much of the feedback given in the first application step. The last work package included preparatory activities for the interview in Brussels, such as presentation of the project proposal and interview questions from a jury.
