Automated Machine Learning for Lower CO2 Emissions

Purpose and goal:

The project´s objective is to initiate a research and educational collaboration between the Department of Applied IT at the University of Gothenburg, a leading research, innovation, and education hub in digitalisation, human-centered AI, and IT in Sweden, and the University of Siegen, a leading university in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.

The main activity is three visits from the University of Siegen to the University of Gothenburg. Expected results and effects:

The research stay will provide researchers from the University of Siegen and ITIT opportunity to create a basis for long-term cooperation in research and education. Approach and implementation:

During the research stays, the incoming researcher will collaborate with researchers at the host department in the field of artificial intelligence, recommender systems, and information systems. Other activities include participation in seminars and workshops at the host organization.
