Prestudy: Municipalities, climate and digitalization

Purpose and goal:

The study has concretized the role and potential of digitization and has produced concrete proposals for a digital support structure that is used in the development work with climate-neutral cities and system demonstrations. The study has also contributed input to the FOI propp The proposal builds long-term strategies for the continued work with digitalisation. "Digital support for implementation" has become an element of the ongoing work with Climate Contract 2030 The feasibility study delivers concrete proposals for a national support structure for digitalisation as an enabler

Expected results and effects:

Suggestions for the FOI propositions have been delivered. The feasibility study has provided input for the establishment of the Urban Twin Transition Center. The execution of deliveries according to the three packages climate municipalities, impact innovation and long-term efforts is part of the contunued work.

Approach and implementation: The work was carried out in three stages: 1. Input to the FOI proposal 2. Report with proposals. 3. Packaging of results for climate-neutral cities, impact innovation initiatives and long-term proposals.
