Purpose and goal:
Sweden´s electronics industry is extensive and diverse, with numerous companies keen to pursue international growth opportunities. To provide a platform for these companies, the "Internationalisering" project aims to assist in their expansion, particularly in the EU, by creating interfaces for participation in EU framework programs and establishing partnerships.
Its goal is to enhance their presence in the smarter electronics sector and foster long-term growth and innovation by supporting applications to EU programs. Expected results and effects:
The expected outcomes of the project include facilitating the annual participation of Swedish companies in EU electronics events, aiding in the development of various EU project applications yearly, and establishing a network of Swedish professionals experienced in EU programs. In the medium term, it aims to boost the number of Swedish companies, especially SMEs, building expertise and businesses with EU and national R&D&I funding.
Long-term, the project anticipates significant growth and expansion in Sweden´s electronics industry, diversifying the sector´s participants. Approach and implementation:
The "Internationalisering" project led by LTU focuses on building a network of Swedish experts in EU programs like KDT-JU/Chips-JU Xecs ITEA for securing projects. Coordination with Vinnova centers, FFI, and digitalization projects is planned. Participation in key international events will be detailed, aiming to lead in EU consortia.
The project will connect with SES-funded companies, identifying partners for consortiums and aiding in proposal creation. Collaboration for commercialization and proactive involvement for Chips-JU and Chip4EU initiatives are also key aspects
