Swedish platform for System Innovation Research in Interaction (SIRI) – a feasibility study

The overall objective is to intensify the co-creation of knowledge between decision-makers, practitioners and researchers in order to thereby make a significant impact on the design, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of innovation policy initiatives for system innovation and to conduct scientific research on that research front.

Expected results and effects:

The preliminary study has led to a proposal for the organization of a new, cross-disciplinary system innovation and entrepreneurship oriented interaction platform that connects policy makers, practitioners, and researchers. The feasibility study includes, among other things, a stakeholder analysis, prioritized activities, an organizational model, research theme and a list of projects.

Approach and implementation:

The preliminary study has been carried out in an inclusive manner with participation from various universities in Sweden as well as Swedish political decision-makers and practitioners.
