Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The aim is to give as many people as possible access to evidence-based treatment for urinary incontinence with support of the Tät® app.

The app is CE-marked as a class I medical device. It is available in eight languages, it is recommended by healthcare and has so far been used by over 350,000 women. We offer the app in a free and in a Premium version directly to the customer. In this project, we want to transfer the app to a technical platform that enables a B2B solution, start a pilot project together with a health company and initiate collaborations with the health care in Finland and Norway

Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** More people get access to evidence-based treatment for urinary incontinence both in Sweden and globally.

Treatment with support of an app reduces the need for incontinence protection and has potential to reduce the number of visits to care.

The prerequisite for more equal care can increase as access to care IRL varies geographically and smartphone access is high in most countries. Approach and implementation:

1. Move existing B2C app to new platform, common for iOS and Android, which also enables B2B. Done with released app September 2024.

2. A pilot project is planned in collaboration with an international health company (B2B solution). Customized app for that market ready in spring 2024 and project start in 2024. 1 and 2 are made in collaboration with the technology company we have an agreement with.

3. Cooperation with the health care in Norway and Finland regarding recommendation lists for apps. We expect a 4-fold increase of the number of subscribers in Finland and Norway Q3 2024.
