The goal of the project was to be able to scale up the company´s existing production through efficiency and automation. This would require targeted and coherent engineering. During the next phase, the company would invest in marketing.

The product already had a good response in the market and sales data that showed the results of the social media marketing. A targeted effort would be made to reach a sale of 20 shells / day. Work on the production line has been completed and sales are now steadily increasing but have not yet reached 20 shells / day.

With the fact that we succeeded in creating the automation that was part of the project´s objective we now have the opportunity to manufacture 20 shells / day, which corresponds to a turnover of approx. 2 million SEK / year. We can now continue to build on the marketing to sell everything that our production line can produce.

Approach and implementation:

We got off to a slower start than expected, i.a. due to a machine breakdown that took some time to sort out. We therefore extended the end date of the project in consultation with Vinnova. The project soon gained good momentum and there was full focus on the engineering work which was the project´s first phase.

After intensive work, we reached objective of getting a functioning automation up and running that would enable us to respond to demand when we got to grips with marketing. Social media marketing generated a 53% increase in sales in the last month and sales continue to climb.
