Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The project aims to develop collaboration and competitive proposals for the coming Horizon Europe calls together with French and German partners. We will focus on the development of innovative Colloidal Aminated Porous Liquid (CAPL) materials, accelerating the breakthrough technology to higher TRL for large-scale deployment of a sustainable CO2 capture process and eventually contributing to the carbon neutrality goal.

Expected results and effects: We expect to (i) build up and strengthen our consortium to foster collaborations and enhance expertise and resource sharing;

(ii) demonstrate the high potential of CAPL materials in CO2 capture with reduced energy consumption and zero amine emission to validate its feasibility and sustainability;

(iii) submit comprehensive proposals to increase the competitiveness of the applications for further development and large-scale deployment. Approach and implementation:

(i) Arrange workshops, visit studies, and regular online meetings to develop the CAPLs consortium, explore potential new project partners, and unveil the components for applying Europe Horizon projects; (ii) Carry out proof-of-concept studies to obtain the preliminary results as a feasible scientific basis for proposals;

(iii) Prepare and submit proposals for Europe Horizon project applications.
