The project will develop solutions that remove today´s obstacles for a stronger implementation of medical technology products, working methods and solutions for care at home. Through case studies, we intend to increase understanding and strengthen capacity towards better hospital care in the home.

We strive to create a coherent strategy for healthcare in the home and related work methods/organizations. The project has a system innovation focus where the role of technology is set in a broader organizational context. Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The project emphasizes learning about the development/implementation of MedTech and solutions - to create conditions for a sustainable implementation of MedTech.The project creates value by identifying and creating the conditions to remove the obstacles that prevent successful pilot projects from being widely implemented.The project also responds to MT4H´s impact goals 1) Increased access to innovative MedTech for patients in Sweden and 2) Swedish regions and municipalities implement innovative MedTech to a greater degree.

Approach and implementation:

The project runs 2023-10-01 - 2025-12-31 with interwoven activities distributed across six work packages. Collaboration among the parties permeates the entire setup. The project is led by the collaborative platform CHI at Dep of Technology Management and Economics at Chalmers, conducted in close collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Södra Älvsborg Hospital, Skaraborg Hospital, Skåne University Hospital, research groups at Electrical Engineering and Physical Resource Theory at Chalmers and the Innovation Platform in Region Västra Götaland.
