The goal of the communication project Wind power online is to enable that authority decisions on wind power are based on scientific research through delivering high quality and relevant research based knowledge on wind power and its contribution to a sustainable energy transition.
Research communication will be carried out through an interactive and self-instructing online course that is always available as well as through live webinars on new and current wind power research, where a platform is offered for dialogues/discussions. Tailor-made training opportunities are also created for politicians.
The design of the research communication is based on many years of pedagogical experience and previous research communication projects.
Target groups are employees at county administration boards, municipalities, regions and other authorities that work with wind power, politicians who make decisions about wind power and those active in the wind power industry.
Wind power online is based on research findings from several scientific fields, communicating permit issues and planning for offshore and land-based wind power, technical conditions and acceptance issues. The project aims to communicate current research and new knowledge to the target groups.
To reach these, we collaborate with relevant authorities and organisations, by sending newsletters and e-mails, as well as using social media such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
