Purpose and goal:
The aim is to make it easier for the elderly to be independent, maintain abilities, reduce the risk of involuntary loneliness, maintain health and enable them to remain living in their own home, as well as to lower the thresholds for using digital solutions and welfare technology, reduce involuntary loneliness, provide support to relatives and extended independence. The overall long-term effect goal is to create an age-friendly village.
Expected results and effects: An overall solution for safety-creating services is in place Developed method manual to become an age-friendly municipality Clear business models for dissemination Network for involuntary loneliness Structures for forms of cooperation between municipality and civil society

The project is based on the demographic challenge, social challenge, and focus on meeting the goal conflict that arises when streamlining operations with the help of digitalisation, it must not be at the expense of the individual´s sense of security, safety and accessibility. The project will develop a system innovation that includes hardware, software, organizational
solutions within the municipality as well as working methods and concepts towards both civil society and private actors. Our approach is to fundamentally change parts of the socio-technical system.
