National Cowdatalab for innovations based on advanced digitization in the milk & meat industry

Purpose and goal:

The goal is to develop and demonstrate a National Coding Lab to support innovative and advanced digitization in the meat and milk industry. Expected results and effects:

Expected results are that data is used for decisions and services that improve animal health, breeding, food production and profitability and give rise to innovations. We generate more digital solutions and provide increased accessibility for more actors in the industry and develop the animal industry in Sweden towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly business.

The effect will be a permanent data lab that contributes to data-driven innovations increasing in scope, making secure and anonymized data available and data-driven AI solutions in the field. The project´s partners are Växa Sverige, agricam AB, Agronod AB and Svensk Husdjurstjänst. In addition, DeLaval, GEA, Lely, Arla, SVA, Eurofins and Nedap participate at their own expense. The project is open to new entities.
