The purpose of the trip was partly to market Elonroad in Canada, partly to better understand the market and the ecosystem in Canada and to create insights on how to establish ourselves in North America within a 12-18 month period. We have established relationships with several of the companies we met during Ignate Sweden match making as well as at other events arranged by Vinnova. We hope and believe in long-term relationships for concrete electric road projects in Canada.

It was a very well-developed programme that included other startups, public actors in the startup ecosystem as well as the opportunity to meet established companies. We met several Swedish companies that we had not met before, which also contributed to increased knowledge and networking.
