Purpose and goal:

Our project aims to increase knowledge and understanding of AI within Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan and its staff. We want to spread this knowledge to target groups and collaborating associations to facilitate the use of AI. In addition, we are exploring how AI can support our leaders in education planning and increasing accessibility.

A concrete example of AI use to improve adult education activities and reduce administration is expected after the project, with the possibility of further development and adaption to scale up to the entire non-formal adult education. Expected results and effects:

The project´s effects encompass an elevation in the quality of adult education activities. With short-term support for leaders in reporting and long-term planning assistance, the workflow for staff will become more efficient, reducing the need for recurring manual interventions regarding administration. Project results entail the development and user testing of an AI language model tailored for leaders.

Target group analysis will be pivotal in the technical development. Documentation and knowledge transfer will be facilitated through recorded training initiatives. Approach and implementation:

Throughout the project, all employees will participate in three training days in an innovation process led by RISE. A needs analysis, consisting of surveys and in-depth interviews, will be conducted to identify the challenges faced by the leaders. These insights will be used to develop a technical strategy and create an AI prototype with the help of RISE´s expertise.

Subsequently, the prototype will be tested with the target audience to gather insights for adjustments. Finally, an evaluation of the project´s progress, results, and discussions about implementation will be conducted.
