The project´s expected effects include the development of a cost-effective and scalable electrolysis plant for green hydrogen production (10-20 kg/day, 30-50 kW). Our innovation eliminates membranes, reduces costs and maintenance, and increases efficiency by using energy storage materials. Expected results include a successful pilot demonstration and a solution for cost-effective production of green hydrogen, which addresses society´s need for sustainable energy alternatives.

For the implementation of Projektfas I, the goal is to achieve autonomous production of hydrogen from an optimized unit cell. Activities include building a basic smart control system and automating the process, as well as optimizing flux distribution for homogeneous operation and electrode composition for maximum efficiency and minimized dependence on rare earth materials. Finally, optimization of operational conditions such as rated power, temperature, pressure, flow and cycle times.
