Purpose and goal:
The aim of the project was to establish a consortium and successfully submit a strong proposal to the Eurostars programme. Despite initial challenges, such as the defection of an intended partner, work on consortium formation intensified. Through collaboration with partners, a business model and strategies for commercialization were developed.
IP inventory and strategic recommendations were carried out, further strengthening the proposal. Validation studies showed the product´s unique properties. Expected results and effects:
The results of the project have been successful, with a stable consortium and validation tests of an innovative product. An extensive IP inventory has been made, and a robust business model has been implemented in the proposal. Expected impacts include a strong Eurostars proposal which we hope will be granted.
If proposal is not granted, we still expect to be able to deepen our collaborations within the consortium, which will strengthen our position and promote future innovations, and enable other applications. Approach and implementation:
WP1 focused on creating a Proof of Concept through iterative trials with an Bioprocess Controller (BPC), which enabled detailed monitoring and optimization of the process. The product´s functional effects were studied with partners.
WP2 included support from the patent firm that performed an IP inventory and strategy work by reviewing the company´s existing IP material.
I WP3 did the business consultant market research, and led a number of workshops for business development of business models and investigation of market potential.
