Purpose and goal:
The goal is to effectively integrate the EU´s Marie Skodowska-Curie Actions Fellow into our organization and develop activities in the wood industry, driven by our innovations of sustainable methods using microwave technology. Expected results and effects:
The use of radio frequency (RF) and microwave (MW) sources for heating purposes is undergoing a revolution. Traditional heating systems that rely on vacuum tubes are now transitioning to solid state amplifiers and offer several advantages including increased efficiency, higher reliability, compact size, improved quality and lower operating costs. This project foresees a revolution in high power amplifiers through the implementation of solid state technology with direct application in the wood industry to promote sustainable energy solutions.
Approach and implementation:
Den MSCA Fellow is an asset for Percy Rocs´s sustainable energy production. Internally, he leads research projects, optimizes energy efficiency and implements cutting-edge technologies. In addition, he facilitates knowledge transfer and improves existing processes.
MSCA Fellow also drives sustainability initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Externally, he initiates collaborations with research institutions and industry partners, which harmonizes perfectly with Percy Rocs´s vision and promotes sustainable energy solutions.
