Purpose and goal:
The project aims to challenge and inspire employees in the forestry industry to work on gender equality in their everyday tasks using inclusive, innovative approaches, and new technology. The project´s goal is to explore how, in a co-creative design process, one can find ways to use factors such as motivation, gamification, and artificial intelligence for this purpose.
The project also aims to contribute to and disseminate new knowledge about these methods and tools as a method within the Swedish industry. Expected results and effects:
Increased understanding of how methods and approaches such as motivation, gamification, and artificial intelligence can be used to make gender equality more top of mind in the industry´s daily operations. Additionally, the project aims to disseminate the methods and insights generated and compiled during its course.
Approach and implementation:
The project employs a co-creative, iterative, design-driven approach. The project starts by deepening the understanding of the industry context´s conditions, needs, and opportunities, drawing from previous gender equality projects within the forestry industry, as well as conducting supplementary workshops/interviews. Subsequently, the project engages in idea generation, prototype testing, and the development of a plan for the implementation and dissemination of the solution and method in close collaboration with project stakeholders and other industry stakeholders.
