Next step - Bridging the gap: a policy platform for safe and sustainable advanced materials

Purpose and goal:

Advanced materials will be important in Swedish and European industry for many years to come. There are many promising and successful organisations in Sweden, but for faster and safer uptake of these advanced materials, the industry and investors need to know the rules of the game.

The purpose of the project is therefore to support and accelerate the green transition of the industry by facilitating the work with policies around advanced materials. Expected results and effects:

The project will create a policy platform that can promote innovation, convey information and promote responsible development of advanced materials. The platform will contribute to the development and implementation of policies (e.g. standards and regulations) which support the uptake of advanced materials.

Approach and implementation:

In collaboration with a large number organisations who work with advanced materials, we will identify which policies and networks are relevant in the field. We will build a platform as an arena where you can turn to find information about policies for advanced materials. An important part is also to investigate how the platform can continue also after the project.
