Purpose and goal:
The project aims to use real-time visualization techniques to improve highway congestion management. The project will employ advanced data analytics and visualization tools enable transportation authorities make informed decisions, reduce congestion, and enhance highway network performance, thus contributing to sustainable mobility innovation.
Expected results and effects:
The project will result in prototypes of dashboards for urban traffic management. The results from the project are expected to enable future activities related to traffic management in Sweden and other European countries. Approach and implementation:
The project includes work packages to develop performance metrics that can be used for dashboards; inventory of experiences in Sweden and the USA regarding support around traffic control; and development of a prototype information panel based on experience identified performance measures based on data for Stockholm.
