Development of the Swedish Quantum Life Science Centre (QLSC)

Purpose and goal: The aim of this project is to develop and establish the Swedish Quantum Life Science (QLS) Centre.

In the short term (year one), our goal is to create enabling conditions for an attractive QLS ecosystem in Sweden. An attractive, supportive and innovative QLS ecosystem will foster interdisciplinary collaboration, cutting-edge research, and the commercialization of innovative QLS products and services.

Within five years, our goal is to pioneer QLS applications for precision health, secure Sweden´s global QLS leadership, and stimulate startup growth and job creation in the QLS space. Expected results and effects: We aim to drive substantial impact and results:

Our aim is to establish the Quantum Life Science Centre, catalyzing quantum technology in health and life sciences. In one year, we´ll establish the Centre, fostering collaboration and QLS commercialization. Over five years, we aim to enhance precision health, secure global QLS leadership, and boost startup growth and job opportunities.

Approach and implementation: * Establishing a fully functional QLS Centre * Redefining strategies and a comprehensive plan for application projects * Securing long term joint funding * Organizing national yearly QLS workshop to propel applications * Co-organizing the 4th Nordic and 2nd Global QLS Roundtable

* Strategic collaborations with Cleveland Clinic and Novo Nordisk Quantum Computing Program to develop further applications for precision health * Strategic communication and online presence * Launching education and news updates, engaging the community
