Food for all citizens -Locally and Jointly

Purpose and goal:

The system for our food supply is faltering and a whole new way of co-creation, mobilization and action is needed to build a socially, economically and environmentally resilient and sustainable food system. Together, we will create a system-transforming and inclusive innovation platform with a focus on a diversity of local food producers, a more efficient distribution of resources, an increased degree of self-sufficiency and a spread of risks where everyone in Sweden can contribute to and take part in sustainably produced, sustainably distributed and sustainably consumed food.

Expected results and effects:

By mobilizing for the innovation of civil society and the innovation of small entrepreneurs, our innovation platform shall contribute to a good local food supply and crisis preparedness, local, sustainable and resource-sharing food creation by a diversity of actors, shorter food chains and transport routes through cooperation and collaboration. Well-functioning local food production is a proven effective way to reduce malnutrition, hunger and poverty and increases resilience in the event of war and crises.

Approach and implementation: Establish the innovation platform - core team and collaboration partners with expertise in relevant/crucial areas. Deepen and develop the mission to ensure common objective based on a common and clear

problem analysis. Inventory, mapping and analysis. Coordination and Mobilization internally, externally, nationally and internationally, carry out communication activities. Develop and anchor system-transforming innovation ideas.
