Measuring more than impact

Purpose and goal:

The main purpose of the feasibility study is to stimulate the emergence of more impact companies in Swedish incubators. Impact companies that can measure their social and environmental impact together with their financial return. The project intends to increase knowledge about impact and to develop a basis for new working methods, methods and tools to identify SDG objective and impact KPIs in the companies.

Expected results and effects:

More impact companies out in Swedens incubators that can report and measure their impact as well as producing documentation for working methods, methods and tools to be able to compare and forecast impact between different company operations in the incubators. In addition, the project will make it easier for incubator companies to report according to ESG and CSRD guidelines and increase knowledge about impact in Swedish incubators and companies.

Approach and implementation:

The project will conduct a needs analysis and in-depth interviews among Swedish incubators to ensure the needs in the area of impact. The project will also implement an impact program among a selection of Sweden´s incubators and its companies. The program consists of a knowledge-raising part, a part that focuses on developing the companies´ impact KPIs and a part that deals with impact forecasting.
