Korea Eureka Days 30/10-1/11 2023

Purpose and goal:

Massive Dynamic Sweden (MDS) has developed a citizen engagement app that has been co-funded by the H2020 project Silvanus to enable citizens´ awareness of forest fire prevention and management. The goal of participating in Korea Eureka Days was to find partners who would like to collaborate to further develop our app as well as translate it into different languages and reflect on the needs of different countries.

We participated in many interesting discussions and we plan to start a new project with a partner we identified. Expected results and effects:

The goal of this project was to disseminate the app, and to identify organizations that would like to collaborate with us to translate the app and develop it further. At the event:

1) We identified four organizations and we will keep in touch with them; (2) We identified a specific partner and discussed a specific idea to start a new project; (3) We participated in the country seminar ´´Meet Sweden´´ with a pitch; (4) We met and discussed with several organizations and individuals during the events´ breaks.

Approach and implementation:

To prepare for the participation to the KOREAN EYREKA days 2023, we identified relevant organisations that would join the same event, through the event´s platform. Therefore we sent meeting requests and messages to organisations with the potential to collaborate. During the event we actively seeked opportunities to engage in discussions and extend our network with individuals and organizations.

We participated in the country seminar to disseminate the app and openly invite participants to talk to us and brainstorm possible future collaborations.
