Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of the project is to develop evidence-based support for the successful widespread use of medical technology in order to ensure long-term sustainable care through technology intensification. Objective for the project is to 1) deliver tools for maturity assessment of the possibility of implementing specific technology, 2) develop tools with questions for practical implementation, 3) package the results in a web solution for national dissemination and use.

Expected results and effects:

Through inclusion and collaboration, develop a support system for the implementation of medical technology. Expected effects and results are to: *implement the project´s three deliveries according to plan *strengthen and accelerate learning within medtech4health and other actors *increase awareness of what is required to carry out broad implementation of biomedical engineering in regions

Approach and implementation: The work is carried out in four packages: AP1: Readiness instrument -literature review, workshops, validation with experts, report AP2: Implementation support -literature review, workshops, validate instrument, report AP3: Package - web solution AP4: National dissemination and management - national collaboration

The working method is based on established methodology within interactive research and collaboration.
