Travel Grant to India 2023 - SIIB Event

Purpose and goal: From KTH side, our team was more interested in the topic AI and Digitalization. Here I provide some pointers.

1. We got to know India’s special thrust in AI and digitalization, specifically demonstrated by several companies and the IISc managed ARTPARK. 2. We engaged with ISRO scientists, on India’s great achievement of lunar exploration called Chandrayaan 3.

3. In the whole process of experience and learning, we argued how KTH can take a role, as a technology and engineering hub. 8.We have also established connections for joint Indo-Swedish research proposals. Expected results and effects:

The results will be in more cooperation. In fact the visit allowed us to float a joint Indo-Swedish project proposal under recent DBT-VINNOVA call. We are also trying to establish new MoUs with several Indian institutes. Approach and implementation:

The design of the project is visit based, where our tasks is to engage in dialogue, understanding, getting informed, and then networking with the stakeholders for long term achievements. We believe the project was executed in a efficient manner. We also gave feedback to SIBC future improvement scopes.
