Purpose and goal:
The project aims to launch an educational text scanning tool in India, to provide equal access to high-quality education for all students, regardless of socioeconomic status or background. By utilizing advanced AI and language models, the tool will convert scanned text into interactive and multilingual educational content, including videos, quizzes, and keyword descriptions.
The goal is to increase the accessibility and comprehension of the content, enhance students´ learning, and contribute to equality and quality education in line with the UN´s sustainability goals. Expected results and effects:
Multilingual students in India have the opportunity to access school materials in multiple languages for more effective learning. These students also perceive the content as tailored and relevant to them, and consider themselves helped or very helped by the material. Students using the scanning tools find relevant material more quickly and continue to use the platform over time.
Approach and implementation:
The project is jointly driven by Logicease and Binogi. The University of Toronto will independently verify the educational outcomes. The work is carried out iteratively in Stockholm and Ambala City, divided into four main work packages: 1. Detailed analysis of market dynamics 2. Validation and improvement of an AI-based in-app photo scanner for educational materials.
3. Development of AI-based content adaptation and synchronization tool 4. App commercialization and user engagement
