Recycled AHSS for automotive applications

Purpose and goal:

The goal of the project was to build a consortium to be able to write the project application to Horizon Europe Clean Steel and a proposal to RFCS.

These objectives were met.

Expected results and effects:

By having a strong consortium, new project can be formed that promote the recycling of materials of different composition for the automotive industry. Recycling is an important way to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in connection with steel production.

Approach and implementation:

The project activities were organized into three work packages:

- Consortium formation: establish a competitive consortium that includes the most relevant actors to develop the necessary synergies to achieve the project objectives and maximize their impact.

- Development of work plan, incl. preparation of a literature study, organization of co-creation workshops, and iterative writing of the project application.

- Adaptation of the project application to the RFCS-the call for proposals
