Production 2030 at Maintenance Fair

Purpose and goal:

To participate at the Maintenance Fair to share and spread knowledge and information from various ongoing or completed project funded by Vinnova, Formas and the Energy Agency via Produktion 2030 with a focus on continuing education (Ingenjör 4.0), Smart Maintenance and AM with a focus on Large Scale AM. All partners have had their own booths, and RISE has also organized a large international AM conference where over 200 people participated in the event.

For RISE, it has also been about showcasing the collaboration between several Swedish companies that has led to new innovations. Expected results and effects:

We have had a unique opportunity to interact with professionals in different sectors to share the knowledge and information we have in different areas and gained from different projects. The project has been a good platform to create new opportunities for us to reach out to a wider audience than those we do via our normal channels. Above all, we have been able to show the importance of continuity in research where Production 2030 has been instrumental in Sweden.

Additive Intelligence 4.0 has also put AM Center at RISE on the international map in a good way, where we had more than 200 guests. Approach and implementation:

We have had several different working groups, one working group include Produktion 2030, RISE, Chalmers, Halmstads Högskola and Svenska Mässan. In this group, we have focused on collaboration between us and with Produktion 2030 and how we can make our research visible. There was a working group between RISE, Svenska Mässan, Addict 3D, Adaxis, KFM Maskin, ABB, RSP, SICK, Troax which focused on the robot cell.

The working group consisting of CAM2, AM-arenan, AM4Life and RISE together with Svenska Mässan focused on the Additive Intelligence 4.0 conference itself. We had weekly meetings.
