The purpose of the trip was partly to market Elonroad in Brazil, partly to better understand the market and the ecosystem in Brazil and create insights on how we should establish ourselves in the country within a period of 12-18 months. This has been achieved by participating in seminars and on-site meetings as well as follow-up contacts after the trip was completed.

We have established relationships with several of the companies we met during Ignite Sweden match-making as well as at other events arranged by Vinnova. We hope and believe in long-term relationships for concrete electric road projects in Brazil. We also had the opportunity to meet and initiate dialogue with several potential investors.

It was a very well thought out programme that included other startups, actors in the startup ecosystem in Brazil, investors and the opportunity to meet established companies. We met several Swedish start-up companies that we had not met before, as well as companies that had previously established themselves in Brazil, which also contributed to increased knowledge and networks.
