Higher ambitions within LIGHTer’s international collaboration

Purpose and goal:

The Internationalization Strategy of SIP LIGHTer includes increased collaboration with key actors in the EU and other countries to address how lightweight can be an enabler for competitiveness and sustainability.

The goal is to increase the participation of Swedish actors in the European research and business cooperation within lightweight. Expected results and effects: Increased participation of Swedish actors in the European research and business cooperation within lightweight. An important result is a common European strategy for lightweighting R&D.

Approach and implementation:

This project focuses on increased collaboration with actors (companies, authorities, organizations and researchers) in France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany and several other European countries, to coordinate international roadmaps for lightweight, addressing the UN´s climate goals.
