Competitive Eurostars proposal for identifying biomarkers to bring Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment to the market

Purpose and goal:

The aim of the project is to prepare a strong winning application to Eurostars through detailed planning of the scope of work packages and timelines. Furthermore, we will strengthen collaborations and negotiate with key partners, research organisations and subcontractors for the project, and establish a business plan. This will ensure a strong and competitive application.

Expected results and effects:

The main objective of the Eurostars project is to identify biomarkers associated with RA disease activity and prognosis, in particular, for predicting patients´ response to treatment with Lipum’s drug candidate SOL-116. This will pave the way for an optimised design of clinical trials and subsequently lay the foundation for the development of tests to detect drug response, enabling new personalised and effective therapeutic strategies.

Approach and implementation:

WP 1 will include detailed planning of the scope of work packages and developing a reasonable timeline for the implementation of each work package.

Within WP 2, Lipum will work on partnership strengthening and negotiations finalisation. The activities will include communication with key partners for the project implementation.

WP 3 includes different activities related to the preparation of all parts of the application for Eurostars. Deliveries: fully prepared application ready for submission to Eurostars.
