Soft landing in North Sweden

Purpose and goal:

The purpose and goal were to spark interest among and facilitate the establishment of American companies in northern Sweden, in connection with the emerging need for expertise due to the green transition. The first part has been partially fulfilled through Bifrost and the dialogues conducted with American companies, but we are not completely satisfied with the results in reaching the target audience.

Regarding the second part, we have been more successful, as there is now a joint soft-landing offer and regional cooperation around this. Expected results and effects:

Regarding the results we outlined in the application, we believe we have been successful with the first two (a consolidated soft-landing offer and a professional marketing package aimed at the target audience) and partially successful with the third (informing the target audience about the opportunities in northern Sweden and our offer).

As for the outcomes, we did not manage to attract any American companies from the target audience to the Demo North Summit. We had dialogues with a few companies, but none chose to come to Sweden. However, we have new contacts and can deliver the offer. Approach and implementation:

We divided the project into five work packages plus administration. The first was to create our joint soft-landing offer, and here the collaboration went very well, resulting in a concrete and useful product to deliver to the target audience. Regarding the second work packagemarketingwe jointly developed an excellent presentation that we believe suited the target audience well.

WP 3, the delegation trip, is presented in a separate appendix. Unfortunately, there was no WP 4 delegation trip to Sweden, and consequently, no concrete WP 5 "soft landing" in Sweden to implement.
