Purpose and goal:
The project deployEMDS, has a general objective to contribute to the further development of the common European mobility data space. Expected results and effects:
Digitized processes allowing the public sector and businesses to access a larger pool of high quality data on urban mobility.
Cities and public transport authorities will make use of compiled data to identify deficiency areas to track progress towards set policy goals, and to evaluate the effectiveness and overall impact of urban mobility policies. Industry, will benefit from larger sets of data to broaden their offers in terms of products and services.
Improved monitoring/measuring the change of emissions eventually leading to increased environmental performance. Approach and implementation:
The European project consists of 38 beneficiaries and 7 associate partners. RISE, Trafikverket and Stockholm participate from Sweden. The project is split into 5 work packages: 1 Overall Coordination and Project Management led by acatech 2 Deployment of an operational data space across borders led by Fraunhofer
3 Deployment of common governance mechanisms across borders led by RISE 4 Deployment of the common European data spacefor mobility through real-life implementation projects led by EMTA 5 Communication, Dissemination, Exploitation and Stakeholder Engagement led by ERTICO
