Purpose and goal:

The aim is to develop a model for how Swedish MNEs can access & share sustainability research data with global sustainability innovation hubs. With that model & the network it enables, we want to create a catalyst for how sustainability research data can be transformed into sellable assets, influencing companies´ annual reports. In order to transform the Swedish MNEs´ sustainability research into sellable assets, international cooperation is needed.

In this project, we focus on how Swedish MNEs can co-create with global sustainability centers in SG, CH & ISR. Expected results and effects: Phase 1 Concrete Outcome (SMART Goals) 1A. Work Package 1 Plan 2025: A written report, called Plan 2025, answering key questions & incl. a plan for Phase 2

1B. Outspoken but not signed interest to participate from 3 SE MNEs, 3 SE & 2 academic partners in each partner country, Counterpart to Vinnova in SG, CH & ISR, 2-3 SE incubators, 5-7 SE scale ups

2. Work Package 2: Organize 2 Pilot Workshops (in SG & CH) to test the concept where companies & academia prepare potential R&D project ideas & look into how to take them to an R&D application. As aimed result, at least 1 project with 1 MNE, academia & scale up Approach and implementation:

To create a robust foundation for the overall project a Phase 1 is suggested, which is running from 2023-12-13 to 2024-06-30. A description of the two working packages and the goal with each and one of them follows:

1.Work package 1: Create a “Plan 2025”, which has the goal to set the direction and details for how the collaboration model could look like in practice. To be finished until February 2024

2.Work package 2: Conduct two pilot workshops, which have the goal to test the suggested collaboration. To be finished until end of June 2024
