Verification for Growth 2024

Purpose and goal:

Lund University (LU) intends to continue helping students, researchers and other employees to spread knowledge and to make use of and commercialize research with the help of, among other things, during 2024. VFT. Expected results and effects:

Lund University (LU) intends to help students, researchers and other employees to spread knowledge and to make use of and commercialize research with the help of e.g. VFT. Given the budget situation for 2024, it is difficult to state precise effects and results, but based on historical figures, it is reasonable to expect support for around 40 research projects, 5 - 8 student projects, approx. 10 established researchers or student society. During 2024, we will continue to work based on already processed volumes in each area.

Approach and implementation:

In addition to the general structure and implementation of VFT, LU remains interested in supporting early DeepTech innovations and wants to continue to promote more company formations based on intensive research and the quality and ability of these companies to attract external risk capital, with a view to the 2024 budget conditions.
