PiiA SME support

Purpose and goal:

The project aims both to support competence and recruitment for small and medium-sized companies, and to give students/doctoral students an insight into the industry segment that is made up of the process industry and its suppliers. Expected results and effects:

The overall aim and expected result is to bring in new knowledge to small and medium-sized companies. In the long run, we hope for effects through a closer collaboration between the companies and the universities to involve the companies in competence/education/ research together with the universities. A long-term objective is to contribute to digitalization, innovation and competence/recruitment for smaller companies.

Approach and implementation:

The project increases PiiA´s support to small and medium-sized companies by offering the opportunity to engage students/doctoral students to make efforts for digitalisation. In the project, PiiA´s program office collaborates with universities that are already active in PiiA´s project portfolio, but also opens up collaborations with other universities in Sweden and abroad.

Networking takes place partly through existing PiiA collaborations, partly directly with the universities, and through competence centres.
