With the diminishing effect of Moor´s law, micro-architecture optimizations are destined to play a critical role in the efficiency of computer systems.
These optimizations, however, come at a price: modern architectures leak sensitive data that intruders can exploit.Side-channel attacks exploit this information leakage to extract secret information, compromising the security of applications running on such devices. The project aims to provide a comprehensive set of foundations, algorithms, and tools for testing, verification, and defense synthesis that help designers achieve security while maintaining the efficiency of their systems.
