The applicant has lead an ISSI international team on “Molecular and Metallic Ions in the Magnetosphere” (https://www.issibern.ch/teams/mmiconmagnet/).
Main purpose of the team activity is to paving the road for future proposals of dedicated observations in any flight opportunity (Earth observation, Space safety, and Lunar Exploration), because observations are very sparse for these ions without any database, and because they provide independent information that are not obtained from traditional four components.
The team has summarized the results (writing a review paper), which must be presented in meeting with scientists from many different field (mesospheric, ionospheric, magnetospheric, solar wind, lunar, and meteoroid sciences). EGU24 is the best one in Europe.
At EGU, the format of scientists´ window (community) to ESA Heliophysics Working group is discussed during session and splinter meeting. The applicant is one of key person on this discussion.
