Travelstipend 2024 United Kingdom, SIO Grafen study visit GEIC, 2024-03-06

Purpose and goal:

The study trip was very inspiring and resulted in many new and good ideas. Our network has increased both with the other participants on the trip but also with contacts within R&D of 2D materials in Manchester. We have made several overall lessons in research, innovation and development of 2D materials that we take home and use to improve how we ourselves run our project.

Expected results and effects:

The expected results and effects were achieved. We have made new contacts and have improved our ways of working with development projects and commercialization of graphene-based materials and applications. Approach and implementation:

The set-up and implementation were good. The only thing to possibly improve for the future would be to leave a little more time for dialogues and discussions in smaller groups and between people/parties with overlapping interests.
