Increased resource reuse through Rixs-Dacke

The project aims to improve and expand the use of Rixs-Dacke, a standardized classification system for reusable resources within the built environment sector. Rixs-Dacke promotes interoperability and simplifies digital information exchange between reuse actors.

By broadening Rixs-Dacke´s content, with more resource categories and properties and with support for multi language, a greater adoption among SMEs and organizations will be enabled in Sweden and internationally.

The impact of using Rixs-Dacke is reduced costs for reuse actors and, in the longer term, increased reuse of building components, materials, interiors and furniture.

The initiative, run by Dacke Consulting in collaboration with 100Gruppen and 100Gruppen members, plans to develop a new version of Rixs-Dacke that addresses existing gaps in content and language, and explore sustainable financing models for future management.
