Water is our most essential resource, and in a world where water resources are becoming increasingly limited, innovative solutions are required to ensure its sustainable use. "WaterFlow: Digital Nudging Tool for Sustainable Water Use in Households" is a groundbreaking project aimed at reshaping our relationship with water through the use of digital technology and behavioral science.Driven by the tech startup Nudgd, the project faces the task of developing a digital platform that can motivate and influence individuals´ water usage behavior in households.
By combining behavioral psychology and smart technology, such as connection to smart meters, the project aims to engage users towards more sustainable behaviors.
The platform utilizes nudging techniques to encourage individuals to reflect on and change their water usage habits. In addition to offering a user-friendly interface that simplifies the complexity of water usage patterns, the project will promote more environmentally friendly practices by encouraging the sharing of experiences and the tool itself within users´ networks.
This amplifies the impact of conservation efforts.Through this project, we are taking a significant step towards more sustainable living practices and paving the way for similar initiatives globally.
