Development and testing of database software for a more efficient handling of data in AI training

Purpose and goal:

The goal is to have developed a database solution that is ready for testing at the end of project. RISE will test the database in its data center in Luleå to explore and, if possible, verify the potential efficiency-enhancing effect the database can have. The goal is to gain an understanding of the customer interest and the value that our solution can bring to our potential customers.

At the end of project the database software must have reached a level of technical maturity that corresponds to a testable product that can be further developed to become fully scalable. Expected results and effects:

The project is considered successful if Vesiro has managed to develop a testable version of a stand-alone database solution based on our technology, and RISE has tested the database software and been able to determine whether and how much more efficient our solution is compared to one or more of the solutions available on the market today.

Approach and implementation:

The project is planned to be carried out over a year, where the largest part will be spent on development and customer contact, which Vesiro will handle. In the final phase of the project, the software will be delivered together with instructions for testing to RISE, which will then conduct tests and compile and analyze the resulting data. RISE finally compiles a report that describes the execution of the tests and results.

The most important success factors for a successful implementation lie largely in Vesiro succeeding in putting together a software that is testable.
