Konvoj - AI driven schedule optimisation for health care

Purpose and goal:

The project aims to develop Konvoj´s platform for staff scheduling in healthcare, in order to support the operational scheduling processes. The innovation consists of an AI algorithm that will be able to generate smart suggestions that minimize negative consequences for the individual and the organisation, and simultaneaously saves time and creates fairer schedules.

Expected results and effects:

The primary benefit comes from the direct use of the operational scheduling functionality. The idea is to use AI to make suggestions for changes to the schedule that minimize costs and rule violations. Approach and implementation:

The project will be carried out over 13 months, May 2024 to May 2025. May to July will be devoted to preparing the platform for the new functionality. August to October will be spent with our pilot partners to develop a prototype of how the functionality will work. During November to February, a period of development of the platform follows. The last period, March to May, consists of verification and testing of the developed functionality.
