Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The project aims to develop a digital legal advisory service that provides round-the-clock legal help in the user´s language. The goal is to democratize access to legal advice and reduce barriers such as cost and availability, with an AI-driven prototype capable of handling questions within key legal areas. Through this work, we strive to improve access to the legal system and promote justice through technological innovation.

Expected results and effects:

The project is expected to have a significant impact on the legal profession by offering innovative solutions that make legal advice more accessible and cost-effective.

Results include increased legal certainty and a reduction in inequalities in access to legal services. We aim to create a more equal legal aid where the AI lawyer can offer fast and reliable answers to legal questions, enabling individuals and small businesses to make informed decisions without delay.

Approach and implementation:

The project will be implemented in several phases to develop, test and launch the AI-based legal advice service. The project uses an iterative development model, which means that feedback is continuously collected and integrated throughout all stages of the project to gradually improve and adapt the service. The project ends with the launch of the AI lawyer on the Familjens Jurists website.
